About Braindiverse Academy
Braindiverse Academy brings clinically informed neurodevelopmental education to families, schools and professionals. Our aim is to make complex ideas understandable and turn that understanding into practical support for children and young people. The academy brings together training programmes, assessment preparation toolkits, educational videos and guidance for families waiting for a neurodevelopmental assessment.
Our resources are for parents and carers seeking clarity, educators creating more supportive classrooms, and therapists and clinicians developing their knowledge. Topics include ADHD, autism, developmental coordination disorder, tic disorders and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. Visitors can explore focused explanations, discover strategies for everyday challenges, and request training tailored to their organisation or school setting.
Braindiverse Academy is founded and led by Dr. Inyang Takon, a consultant paediatrician with more than 22 years of clinical experience. Her qualifications include MBBS, FRCPCH, FWACP and an MSc in Clinical Neuropsychiatry. Based in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, she combines clinical insight with a commitment to accessible learning and a respectful, human approach to neurodevelopmental difference.
The academy also explores responsible uses of artificial intelligence in healthcare and family support, with clear attention to safety and its limitations. Our educational materials support understanding and informed conversations; they do not replace individual assessment, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified professional.
